Applications are invited from eligible deductible gift recipient organizations which meet the following criteria:
- Have a specific service delivered into the community
- Have a high degree of community / volunteer involvement
- Connect their service delivery and operations into the community they are seeking to support
- Demonstrate service excellence in meeting their recipients needs

HOW TO APPLY FOR A GRANT
The Dorman Foundation suggests that applicants make contact with a representative of the Dorman Foundation prior to submitting their application to discuss their proposed submission. A discussion about the proposed program or project can provide an opportunity for the Dorman Foundation representative to offer guidance as to the preferred content and presentation of your application.
All grant applications must include the grant application form together with a response to every question listed.
Discretion can be granted over whether a grant application is required in order to receive a grant. This requires agreement by all trustees.
